"The Race" is an original, figurine sized, resin pony depicting the
Native American story of how the humans became the rulers over all the
animals. According to the story, one day the Buffalo and humans
began to argue over who should be the ruler of the animals. It was
decided that the issue would best be decided by having a race. The
winner of the race would become the ruler of all the animals. The
humans pointed out to buffalo that it was unfair because they had four
legs, and the humans only had two. It was agreed that the human
could have the Birds race in their place. Four birds participated
in the Race against the Buffalo: a Hummingbird, a Meadowlark, a Hawk,
and a Magpie. The story will be provided with the pony. The pony has been mounted on a lighted, round dichromatic base that changes colors as it slowly turns within an oak and glass display case measuring 12" X 12" X 12". The rear panel has been etched with a background that features the running buffalo design. It is a one of a kind piece, and the first of several ponies I have planned which will graphically depict Native American stories and folklore. |

Celestial Romp is an original pony that was completed for the
Fund-raising Auction on e-bay. The auction was halted for a short
time, but watch for it again. The colors are day-glo and shows six
horses, representing the Northern Lights, dancing in the clods in a
night sky. The Fund-Raiser is reputable and a very good cause.
If you like my work, watch for it and place a bid. It is a one of
a kind pony! Support Robin and her kids in Kentucky!

| This is another original pony that was completed for a fund-raiser. This pony was completed for the NARHA. It is an incredible organization that helps handicapped people through the therapeutic relationships that develop between people and horses, and the rhythmic motions. The NARHA is the featured philanthropic organization for this month on the Trail of Painted Ponies. I heartily encourage any support you can give them! | ||

"Serenity" is a
design that was inspired by a combination of the stream and Japanese
Maples I have in my yard. The stones, combined with the points of
reflection from the water surrounding them, are contrasted with the
colors of the Orange Splendor Japanese Maple. A stream is found on
the base, again, with the stones and water design repeated. This pony is on display at "the Santa Fe Craftsman" 118 N. College, Fort Collins, CO |

driving through a small town main street all decked out in lights.
The other side has a Ford pickup hauling a fresh cut Christmas Tree home
after a late night snow storm. It celebrates the more simple

about the city of fort Collins, Colorado and the city holiday decoration
guidelines restricting downtown lights to white and unadorned boughs of
pine.....BAh! Humbug! This Pony was awarded honorable mention in the holiday pony contest on the trail This pony is on display at "the Santa Fe Craftsman" 118 N. College, Fort Collins, CO |
